Explore the Medina

The best way to discover Marrakech is simply to wander. Lose yourself in the souks, explore the little shops and craft stalls, and make your way towards Jemaa el-Fna and the Koutoubia.

Take your time, stop for a mint tea, and don't worry too much about having a plan, getting a little lost is part of the experience.

Jardin Majorelle

One of Marrakech's most iconic spots, Jardin Majorelle is a beautiful botanical garden filled with palms, cacti and the famous Majorelle blue. You can also visit the Musée Yves Saint Laurent and the Pierre Bergé Museum of Berber Arts nearby.

Hammam & massage

A Marrakech weekend wouldn't be complete without a hammam.

Dar Vita - A more intimate, high-end hammam and spa in Dar El Bacha, particularly lovely if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing experience.

Shopping & wandering

The souks are perfect for an afternoon of browsing: ceramics, woven baskets, textiles, babouches, jewellery, spices and all sorts of beautiful Moroccan crafts.

For something a little more contemporary, head towards Guéliz and the area around Majorelle, where you'll find galleries, boutiques and Moroccan designers.
